Thrift Shop

Thrift Shop
The SAFB Thrift Shop, Inc. is a private organization that is allowed to function on Sheppard Air Force Base by the consent of the base commander. It is a non-profit organization that provides several ways to become involved!

Donate your Time
- The Sheppard AFB Thrift Shop is a place where volunteers can find fun, exciting, friendly and challenging work. They are also able to build camaraderie and learn more about retail operations. Our volunteers receive many benefits including first pick of items that come in!
Donate your Goods
- As a non-profit organization, all profits are turned into donations that support Sheppard Officers' Spouses Club and the surrounding community. Each year the shop gives away thousands of dollars to organizations in need. In addition, anything we cannot sell in the store we give to several other local charities.
Consign
- Military members are constantly moving. Sometimes they are allowed to take all their items with them; sometimes they have to downsize.
Consignors can earn anywhere from $5 to $500 every month, depending on what they bring in and sell! For more information, please view our consignment policies.
- For consignments we take 20 items per day, 10 items may be clothing. The consignors can pick up their checks on the 7th of each month. Consignors make 75% of their asking price. Contracts can be purchased for 75 cents.
- With military families always on the move, families expanding, kids growing, and a general need for everyday items, you are sure to find something you need at the SAFB Thrift Store. We feature items from clothes to kitchen supplies and furniture to baby gear. We are only open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so please check our store hours below.
